These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VolunTrak platform, a SchoolBanks, Inc. product, operated by SchoolBanks, Inc. ("SchoolBanks," "VolunTrak," "we," or "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
By accessing or using VolunTrak, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or have verifiable parental consent if younger, where applicable), that you have the authority to bind any agency on whose behalf you are acting, and that you agree to these Terms.
If you are using VolunTrak through a school district or agency that has a separate agreement with us, that agreement governs where it conflicts with these Terms.
VolunTrak provides volunteer hour tracking, event management, and community service coordination tools for schools, school districts, students, nonprofits, and event organizers. Features and access levels vary by account type and subscription plan.
Student accounts at schools that have contracted VolunTrak may be provisioned automatically via SIS integration and are governed by the school district's data processing agreement with VolunTrak.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to keep that information up to date.
Notify us immediately at hello@voluntrak.io if you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorization.
You agree not to:
VolunTrak is built on trust between students, schools, and community agencies. Submitting false or inflated volunteer hours is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension or termination. We cooperate with schools and districts investigating academic integrity matters related to volunteer hour records.
VolunTrak and its licensors own all rights in the platform, including software, design, trademarks, and content. Your use of the platform does not grant you ownership of any VolunTrak intellectual property. You retain ownership of the data you submit to the platform.
You grant VolunTrak a limited license to use your submitted data to operate and improve the platform as described in our Privacy Policy.
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. VolunTrak does not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.
Free student and volunteer accounts are provided without any service level warranty. Paid agency subscriptions carry the service level terms set out in the applicable order form or subscription agreement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VolunTrak shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the total amount you paid VolunTrak in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion, with or without notice. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting hello@voluntrak.io.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Rockdale County, Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you opt in to receive SMS/text messages from us, such messages are governed by the Text Messaging / SMS Communications section of our Privacy Policy, including message frequency, message-and-data-rates, and opt-out (STOP)/help (HELP) terms. Standard message and data rates may apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice within the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
